ABOUT
Reck Well (they/them) is the author of the LitRPG series Stumbling Up: A Loser’s Guide to Progression and the cozy sapphic Potions and Perils. Known for character-driven, humor-forward fantasy, Reck writes for readers who crave found family, heartfelt moments, and laughter tucked between dungeon runs and snarky sidekicks. Known for their memorable animal companions (Richard, a foot-long fanged banana slug) and fallible characters (Cole even comes with a [Self Critic] skill), Reck gives you a found family you can fall in love with.
In addition to writing, Reck is heavily involved in the LitRPG community as a TikToker (@reckwellauthor), podcaster (Beyond Quests with Reck on youtube), and the organizer of the Indie Author Booth at LitRPG Con. They are also a frequent voice in the community on various podcasts and do a biweekly collab with PopPop on The Reck and PopPop Show.
Reck is happiest when swapping stories with readers, championing the genre, and convincing people that yes, even slimy companions deserve a spotlight.
